Where Kathy stands
Fighting for District 7A
$265,000 approved for Loch Raven High School and Kingsville Elementary in the 2026 session, plus the unglamorous constituent work nobody writes about.

District 7A is home. Kathy’s roots in this part of Maryland go back generations on her mother’s side, and she has represented these communities since 2011 — first as part of District 7 alongside Harford County, and as District 7A since the 2023 redistricting.
The work that matters most here rarely makes the news. In the 2026 session she secured $165,000 for an electronic message sign at Loch Raven High School and $100,000 for Kingsville Elementary School, and filed requests for Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 34 and a sign at Pine Grove Elementary.
The rest is constituent service: a permit stuck in an agency, an unemployment claim nobody will answer, a road that never got fixed. It is the least glamorous part of the job and the part she takes most seriously.
“When an Apple Store — a flagship retailer that was always busy — announces it is leaving because of rampant shoplifting, link-up robberies, assaults, and slow police response, the message is unmistakable: radical policies have consequences.”
What Kathy is fighting for
- Bring state capital dollars back to 7A schools and first responders
- Answer every constituent who calls the office
- Defend Baltimore County against costs decided elsewhere
- Keep Towson and Perry Hall places families want to be
