Privacy policy

What this site collects

Nothing. This website has no contact forms, no account system, no advertising trackers, and sets no cookies of its own. Visiting it does not put you on a list.

Third parties

Three services are reachable from these pages, and each has its own privacy policy that governs what happens once you use it:

Substack. The newsletter signup box is an embedded Substack form. Subscribing sends your email address to Substack, not to this site. Kathy’s publication lives at kathyformaryland.substack.com.

YouTube. Video players load only after you click play, and they use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie domain. Until you press play, YouTube receives nothing from you.

The contribution processor. Donate buttons hand you off to the campaign’s secure contribution page. Payment and donor information is handled entirely there, under federal and Maryland campaign finance law.

Email you send us

The volunteer, yard sign, and contact links open your own email program. If you write to the campaign, we keep your message and your contact details so we can respond and follow up. We do not sell or rent them.

Hosting

Like any website, the host records standard server logs — IP address, browser, and the page requested — for security and reliability. These are not used to build a profile of you.
